At Bharat National Talent Olympiads (BNTO), we are committed to providing a transparent and fair registration process for all participants. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing examination registrations, cancellations, and refund requests.
By registering for any BNTO examination, competition, or program, you agree to the terms stated in this policy.
Registration fees paid for BNTO examinations are used to cover administrative, operational, examination management, evaluation, certificate generation, and related costs associated with conducting the Olympiads.
As a result, all registration fees are generally considered non-refundable once a registration has been successfully completed.
Participants may choose not to appear for an examination after completing registration. However:
Registration fees will not be refunded for voluntary cancellation.
Registration fees will not be refunded for absence from an examination.
Registration fees will not be refunded due to changes in personal circumstances.
Registrations cannot be transferred to another participant without prior approval from BNTO.
If a participant is charged multiple times for the same registration due to a technical error or payment gateway issue, BNTO will review the transaction and process a refund for the excess amount after successful verification.
To request a duplicate payment refund, participants must provide:
Student Name
Registration Number (if available)
Transaction ID
Payment Receipt or Proof of Payment
Refund requests should be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date.
In the unlikely event that BNTO cancels an examination and is unable to provide an alternative examination date or suitable arrangement, participants may be eligible for a refund of the examination fee.
The refund amount and process shall be determined solely by BNTO based on the circumstances of the cancellation.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have access to a stable internet connection, compatible devices, and the technical requirements necessary for online examinations.
Refunds will generally not be provided for:
Internet connectivity issues
Device malfunctions
Browser incompatibility
Power outages
User-side technical difficulties
However, exceptional cases may be reviewed at BNTO’s discretion.
Where a refund is approved:
Refunds will be processed through the original payment method whenever possible.
Processing times may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, and financial institutions.
BNTO is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers.
Approved refunds are generally processed within 7–15 business days from the date of approval.
The following are generally non-refundable:
Examination registration fees
Late registration fees
Convenience fees charged by payment gateways
Administrative charges
Certificate processing fees
Special program registration fees
Unless otherwise specified by BNTO in writing.
BNTO reserves the right to review all refund and cancellation requests on a case-by-case basis.
The decision of BNTO regarding the approval, rejection, or amount of any refund shall be final and binding.
BNTO reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.
Any updates will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
